COVID-19 Safety Precautions

Safety precautions we are taking to keep patients safe and at ease during COVID-19:

  • Patients are asked to use hand sanitizer on check-in
  • Patients are asked to wear a mask at their appointment until COVID-19 restrictions are lifted
  • Seating in waiting area is six feet apart to comply with social distancing guidelines
  • Staggered appointment times to minimize contact with others
  • Patients are asked to wait in their cars until called into the office
  • Curbside, dropbox, and telehealth services are provided when applicable to limit the number of patients seen inside the office and reduce the risk of cross-contamination
  • Limiting number of people in waiting area and treatment rooms
  • Frequent hand washing and use of hand sanitizer and gloves by staff
  • Frequent sanitizing of surfaces in common areas and work stations

(We are using a COVID-19 EPA Certified product that is non-toxic)

  • Disinfection of exam and treatment areas and all audiology equipment after each patient
  • Disinfection of patient’s hearing aids before and after servicing
  • Use of face mask or face shield while servicing patients when 6 feet distance cannot be maintained, per CDC guidelines
  • Clear glass or plastic barrier at front desk for check-in and check-out
